VITA CRAFT WARRANTS that your set is manufactured from the finest grade Nicromium stainless steel available for home use. Each vegetable, broiling, and roasting unit includes an "inner core" which quickly and evenly transmits heat over the surfaces of the utensil. The inner core feature represents the latest advancement in metals designed for nutritional food preparation.

THE HANDLES, KNOBS, AND FINGERGUARDS are made of the finest heat-resistant phenolic materials. Over a period of years, a handle or knob may be broken in use. In this event we will replace them in accordance with the Limited Warranty appearing below on this web page. A small handling fee is charged to cover the cost of packing and mailing.

SHOULD YOUR VITA CRAFT BE LOST through fire, floods, Acts of God, or circumstances beyond your control, you may secure replacements, for one-half the current retail price, of a set comparable to your original purchase.

While your equipment is truly designed to "last a lifetime", you may someday wish to purchased the "very latest" as a replacement for your present set. Such replacement may be made at one-half the current retail price. This offer is extended only to cookware replaced for your own personal use.

FULL WARRANTY

a. EXTENSION OF WARRANTY. This warranty is extended by Vita Craft Corporation, 11100 West 58th Street, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 ("Vita Craft") to retail purchasers of its products who properly register their purchases of Vita Craft products by completing and mailing to Vita Craft within twenty days of receipt the Registration Cards delivered with the products. As used herein the term "retail purchasers" includes the original purchaser (other than those buying for the purpose of resale) of new Vita Craft products, subsequent transferees during the duration of this Warranty and any other persons entitled by State law to enforce this warranty. This Warranty is in no event extended to cover Vita Craft products purchased for commercial, rental or any purposes other than for personal, family or household use.

b. SCOPE OF WARRANTY. Vita Craft warrants to retail purchasers that, except for handles and knobs, all Vita Craft products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchasers. This Warranty does not apply to defects due, directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, repairs or alteration outside Vita Craft's facilities, or lack of maintenance.

c. REMEDY. If a Vita Craft product is defective, Vita Craft will, at Vita Craft's election, either repair or replace it or refund the purchase price. If a refund of purchase price is made by Vita Craft, all products for which the refund is made become the property of Vita Craft. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You also have implied Warranty rights. In the event of a problem with Warranty service or performance, you may be able to go to small claims court, a state court or a Federal District Court.

d. OBLIGATIONS OF RETAIL PURCHASERS. Within twenty (20) days of the receipt of any Vita Craft product covered by this Warranty, retail purchasers must complete and mail to Vita Craft, at their expense, the Registration Cards delivered with the products. If any original purchasers subsequently transfer (other than by resale), Vita Craft products covered by this Warranty, such purchasers of their transferees must, within thirty (30) days of the transfer, obtain, complete and mail to Vita Craft at their expense the Registration Cards to continue this Warranty in effect. This Warranty does not apply to purchases not registered as required herein. Purchasers must give Vita Craft written notice at 11000 West 58th Street, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 of the claimed defect.

e. OBLIGATIONS OF VITA CRAFT. If the terms and conditions of paragraphs a, b, and d above are satisfied, Vita Craft will examine the products to determine whether defects in material or workmanship exist. If Vita Craft determines that a defect does exist, it will either repair or replace the products, at its discretion and expense, within a 30-day period. In lieu of repair or replacement of products determined to be defective, Vita Craft may elect to refund the purchase price if no replacement products are available and repair is not practicable or cannot be timely made, or if purchasers agree to accept such refunds. If it is determined that no defects covered by this Warranty exist, Vita Craft will so notify the purchasers within fifteen (15) days after receipt of the products. Transport costs for return of products to purchasers will be borne by Vita Craft if covered defects are found and refund of purchase price is not the remedy utilized. If no covered defects are found, storage and return of products shall be solely at purchasers' risk and expense.

LIMITED WARRANTY Handles and Knobs

a. EXTENSION OF WARRANTY. This Warranty is extended to the same retail purchasers as is the foregoing Full Warranty.

b. SCOPE OF WARRANTY. Vita Craft warrants to retail purchasers that the handles and knobs on its products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchasers. This warranty does not apply to damage due, directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, repairs or alteration outside Vita Craft's facilities, or lack of maintenance.

c. REMEDY. If a handle or knob on a Vita Craft product is defective, Vita Craft will, at Vita Craft's election, either repair or replace it or refund the purchase price. If Vita Craft breaches its obligations to purchasers, purchasers may bring civil actions in appropriate courts enforce such obligation at any time within one (1) year from the date of breach.

d. OBLIGATIONS OF RETAIL PURCHASERS. The obligations of a purchaser of Vita Crafts products with respect to the handles and knobs thereon are the same as those stated in the foregoing Full Warranty. If replacements are requested outside of the above warranty, the purchasers must, at their expense, pay Vita Craft a reasonable handling charge each time the knobs or handles are returned to Vita Craft.

e. OBLIGATIONS OF VITA CRAFT. If the terms and conditions of paragraph a, b and d of this Warranty are satisfied, Vita Craft shall be obligated to proceed in the manner provided in the foregoing Full Warranty.
